Marcello Ligabue
In 2001 I hold a degree in Industrial Design from the Politecnico di Milano with a major in visual communications. After I started my career working for the semiotics department of the Politecnico di Milano as well as several Milan agencies.
From 2002 to 2006, I worked as art director for O-one, Industree Group in Reggio Emilia, Italy. There, I managed and developed multimedia and web projects for clients such as Fujitsu Siemens, Helvetia Insurance, Zurich, Kerakoll, Confindustria Assopiastrelle.
In 2007 I started my activity as Designer and Graphic Designer. In 2013 I started my collaboration with the Fab Lab of Reggio Emilia and the passion for digital fabrication. In 2015 I founded Officine Gattaglio.
In the last 5 years I collaborate with University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (course of Mechatronic ) with a focus in product design and brand identity, and i teached graphic design and visual communication in institutes, schools and workshops.
Today I’m president of Officine Gattaglio and founder of Gataz Video productions and I work as consultant for Warrant Hub, Fondazione Museo Antonio Ligabue, Ifoa, Pemo Pumps, FT Spa, Andrea Zanfi Editore for the visual identity and visual communication.
